Abstract

1334955 Animal holding devices T E E KINSEY 7 April 1972 [8 Jan 1971] 991/71 Heading A5R A docking cradle for holding animals comprises a concave cradle on which an animal may be supported on its back, the cradle being supported on a frame formed from side members 1, a rear transverse member 3 and vertical side members 4 and which may be suspended from a hurdle using hooks 4a, and a retaining device comprising a generally U-shaped member hinged at 8 and having loops 11 which hold the animal's hocks. The cradle may be a sheet metal trough or formed by parallel rods or bars 7.
