1331444 Mounting on shafts STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES Ltd 19 April 1971 [9 March 1970] 11259/70 Heading F2U In a flexible coupling a male member 31 (e.g. an electric motor shaft) engages (e.g. by being pushed in axially) a resilient ring 35 (which is located in a cross-flow blower 30) so as to distort the ring 35 sinusoidally out of the radial plane by lugs 34. The female member may comprise either two spaced plates or a plate and a casting between which the ring is located. This member may be shaped to prevent the male member passing through.
