1331031 Multiplex pulse signalling SIEMENS AG 5 Jan 1972 403/72 Addition to 1221258 Heading H4L The system for synchronizing oscillators, e.g. clock generators in exchanges disclosed in the parent Specification, wherein the clock frequencies of the local oscillator and of the incoming signals are divided before being compared in a discriminator circuit, is modified to permit the interconnection of clock oscillators of differing basic frequencies. This is achieved by arranging that the timing pulses on the respective inputs are reduced by frequency division to a common repetition frequency, i.e. that produced by the divider operating on the output of the local generator. The dividers may be of the type which produce the required frequency division when averaged over a predetermined time interval.
