Abstract

1330787 Feeding sheets AUTONUMIS Ltd 9 Dec 1971 [1 Feb 1971] 3647/71 Heading B8A [Also in Division G4] A ticket vending machine comprises a magazine 12 for holding a weighted stack of tickets 10 and a reciprocable stepped delivery plate 36 the stepped portion of which engages the rear edge of the lowermost ticket in the stack during forward movement of the delivery plate and causes the leading edge of the ticket to be thrust through a delivery slot 30 to be manually seized by the operator of the machine. A coin acceptance mechanism to which the magazine may be externally attached (Figs. 1 and 2, not shown) is of the form disclosed in Specification 1,258,406 and includes a coin-freed pull knob 48 which is coupled to the delivery plate via a lug 40 extending from the delivery plate through a slot (24c) in base-plate 24 (Fig. 4, not shown). The delivery slot 30 is formed between an end portion 24a of the base-plate and an end plate 32, the rear edge of which has chamfered portions (32b) (Figs. 6, 7, not shown) to prevent the tickets jamming.
