Abstract
1330412 Voltage measuring MARCONI CO LTD 12 Jan 1972 [4 March 1971] 6018/71 Heading G1U The potential between two clip-probes 2,3, which are mounted 0.2" apart particularly for contacting two neighbouring point on printed circuit track, is smoothed 4, 5, amplified 9, and indicated on a centre-zero meter 15. The amplifier is provided with variable gain by switching between feedback resistors 17, 18, 19, and a source of adjustable zero off-set bias 24. A further adjustable bias source 23 allows the meter 15 to be brought to zero when testing a first portion of a printed circuit track so that when a second portion of the same track, following the teeing off of a component for example, is tested, a relative indication is produced, indicative of the current taken by the teed-off component.
