1329455 Indicators for switches SCHLUMBERGER OVERSEAS MESSGERATEBAU UND VERTRIEB GmbH 7 Dec 1970 [6 Dec 1969] 57952/70 Heading H1N A multi-position rotary switch has switch position indications marked on a drum 20 journalled on a shaft 18 extending perpendicularly to the switch actuation shaft 10, drum 20 being hollow and housing the drive mechanism in its interior. The drive mechanism comprises a crown gear segment 28 attached to shaft 10 which is turned by knob 34 and driving a toothed boss 24 at the centre of drum 20. Alternatively bevelled core gears may be used. The indications are visible through window 38.
