Abstract

132,689. Cooke, H. S. Dec. 16, 1918. Oil-hole closures. - A lubricator for cycles, motorvehicles, &c., of the kind having a hinged lid held in open and closed positions by a spring 12a bearing against two sides of a projection 9 on the lid is provided with a second spring 11 fixed by a rivet to the underside of the lid and engaging a recess 6a in the cap when the lid is closed. As described in the Provisional Specification, the two springs are replaced by a single coiled spring which raises the lid as soon as the end 11<c> is moved out of the recess 6a.
