Abstract

1325786 Valves JOSEPH FLEMING ENG Ltd 22 June 1972 [6 July 1971] 31513/71 Heading F2V A container having a suction pipe and a pressurizing pipe, the inlet to the suction pipe being located at the top of the container, e.g. an agricultural slurry spreader into which liquid or semi-liquid is vacuum sucked, is provided with a float actuated valve with a seal 21 incorporated with the float 19 for abutment against the suction inlet 15 and securing means for locking the valve closed. The securing means comprises a lever 27 linked to the spindle 20 of the valve and intermediate its length to a lug 30.
