Abstract

1325336 Portable containers OWENSILLINOIS Inc 17 July 1970 [18 July 1969] 34746/70 Heading B8D [Also in Division B5] In a packaging system internested blanks are supplied to a packager, the blanks are blow moulded one-by-one to form containers of the desired shape, and the containers are subsequently filled and capped. As shown in Fig. 12, blanks P are fed singly, from a stack 42 of blanks obtained from a supply receptacle 78, on to a conveyer 12 whence they are passed to a blow mould 20, 22. The containers thus formed pass under a filling device 79 a capping device 10 and are thence moved to a packing station 92 in which they are packed in cartons. A container comprises a plastics body portion the side walls of which are surrounded by a tubular fibreboard sleeve 80 adhered to the body by a layer 81 of hot melt adhesive.
