Abstract

1321982 Ships' anchors W L BYERS & CO Ltd 24 Sept 1970 [24 June 1969] 31804/69 Heading B7S An anchor has a fluked head 2 carrying flukes 5 which is held for rotation in shank 1 about an axis perpendicular to the shank by means of a pivot pin 11 which passes through the end of the shank and is received by recesses 10 in the centre part 3 of the fluked head 2. Pins 12 retain the pivot pin in position. Cross-sectional configurations of various parts are specified.
