Abstract

1,036,530. Anchors. E. BAAS. Dec. 16, 1964 [Dec. 21, 1963], No. 51156/64. Heading B7S. In an anchor with a shank 1 (Figures not shown) on the end of which an anchor head is limitedly pivotably mounted, the head consists of two flukes 6 and is provided with spherical thickenings, or rolling balls, 9 (e.g. on the ends of a pivot spindle 5 on which the flukes are welded) which prevent the anchor head from piercing an incorrect position into the anchoring ground.
