Abstract

1320229 Stands; detachable feet; picture frames PROTO-PLUS Ltd 24 Nov 1971 [26 Nov 1970] 40935/70 Headings A4H, A4U, A4X A dis-assemblable display stand comprises a rail 1, a pair of leg members 2 having collars 3 clamped to the ends of rail 1 and at least two feet 6, 6<SP>1</SP>, and load bearing members 8 attached at desired positions along rail 1 by collars 11 clamped by bolts (see Fig.2, not shown) and supporting, e.g., posters 18. Collars 3 may have extensions 46, 47 for supporting a working surface 51, surface 51 also being supported by a support 53. Collars 11 may carry loadbearing members 56 which carry supports 58 for cushions 59. The rail may be L-shaped Fig.1 (not shown) and the legs may have castors (7, 7<SP>1</SP>) and be slidably adjustable along the rail 1. Load-bearing members (31, 32) may support a flower trough (35). Each poster 18 may be rotatable on its member 8 and may be clamped thereto by a split collar and bolt; the member 8 may be telescopic and lockable at desired heights. The poster frame comprises steel U-section strips, top strip 23 sliding in side-strips 24, 25 and the side strips 24, 25 being clamped between L-brackets 26, 27 by bolts 28. A poster 30 is held against a hardboard backing 29 by a transparent cover.
