Abstract

1320211 Metal-air cells ENERGY CONVERSION Ltd 19 April 1971 [7 March 1970] 11030/70 Heading H1B A method of storing one or more metaloxygen cells prior to use comprises locating the cells in an air-tight container, bag or wrapping such that the flow out of the container of hydrogen is allowed but the ingress of oxygen, carbon dioxide and water is substantially prevented. This is achieved by using for the container, bag or wrapping or part thereof a laminate of polythene and polyethylene terephthalate. Thicknesses of the materials are given for a typical cell.
