1317759 Electric cables KABELWERK RHEYDT AG 30 July 1970 [20 Aug 1969] 36996/70 Heading H1A An electric power cable has a neutral conductor 1 surrounding its core and a plastics sheath 5, longitudinal sections of the neutral conductor being insulated individually and/or collectively by a plastics material or covered by a corrosion protective substance 4. In regions devoid of such insulation or covering the wires comprizing the neutral conductor are electrically connected to each other, either by a coil of wire or by a grooved metallic sleeve 3, the wires of the neutral conductor being embedded in the grooves. The connecting regions are located in positions 2 in which the direction of the lay of the wires is reversed. The distance between the connecting regions is at least twice the distance between the positions at which the direction of lay is reversed.
