Abstract
1316082 Infrared absorption analyser W B BARTLEY 3 June 1970 [3 June 1969] 27949/69 Heading G1A In a mono-beam infrared non-dispersive analyser in which chopped radiation passes through a sample cell to a measuring cell 10 having two adjustable chambers 14 and 18 containing different absorbing gases, the relative phase of the sets of pressure output pulses from the two chambers to a capacitive transducer element 20, e.g. a microphone assembly, is adjustable. This phase adjustment may be effected by a pinchcock 26 acting on an elastic tube 24, or by a needle valve Fig. 2, (not shown). Each chamberto capacitor line may have its own adjustment device. A fixed, 16, and adjustable, 12, window define the two chambers.
