Abstract

1315943 Golf club carriers M G LANNER 7 Jan 1971 [14 Jan 1970] 787/71 Heading A6D A golf club carrier as shown comprises an elongated structure 1 which has its interior divided into a plurality of compartments each compartment being formed as an extrusion. The ends of the structure are covered by trays 2, 4, the tray 4 covering the bottom and tray 2 on the top provided with apertures corresponding to the compartments. The compartments are arranged in rows offset from one another to form a zig-zag pattern. The bottom of the compartments are provided with either a rubber block (53) Fig. 3 not shown or a rubber cup (54) Fig. 10 not shown, shaped as a truncated cone, to dampen the impact of the club against tray 4. To accommodate other accessories, a bag 24 is supplied which can be attached to the frame of tray 2 by hooks 25. The bag 24 can be readily detached from the frame 2 and folded to form a handbag (Fig. 2 not shown). Wheels and a handle may also be attached to the structure. A carrying strap 9 is also provided which fits into grooves 8 between the compartments.
