Abstract

1315750 Suction cleaner nozzles H WESSEL 19 April 1971 [6 Feb 1970] 23989/71 Heading A4F A suction cleaner nozzle comprises a nozzle body 1 and an elongated suction intake member 3 the longitudinal walls and web of which are formed in one piece from a channel section member, the web being apertured to provide a suction passage to the body 1 which is formed separately and connected, e.g. by screws, to the member 3, and at least one wall of the member 3 has a groove at its free edge receiving a cleaning strip bar such as a brush 7 or a rubber strip. In the illustrated embodiment each side wall of the member 3 carries a brush 7, and the ends of the member 3 are closed by removable mountings 8 carrying wheels 9 adjustable in height by screws 10. A connecting stub 2 is rotatably mounted in the body 1.
