Abstract

1314203 Priming compositions DYNAMIT NOBEL AG 10 July 1970 [11 July 1969] 33720/70 Heading C1D [Also in Division F3] A composition for a primer which can be ignited both electrically and by impact, comprises predominantly lead trinitroresorcinate. Graphite or carbon black is included as an electrically conductive medium. The composition is rendered sensitive to impact by the inclusion of tetrazene and a friction agent consisting of glass powder and/or, calcium silicide and/or antimony sulphide. The composition is used in conjuction with an separate primer charge consisting of lead dioxide, calcium silicide and barium nitrate.
