Abstract

1313887 Endless conveyers; lifting devices VON ROLL AG 11 May 1970 [9 May 1969] 22736/70 Headings B8A and B8H [Also in Division F2] A container 4 is pivotally suspended from a carriage 6 of an overhead conveyer (not shown) by a suspension frame 7 fixedly mounting a pair of pins 11 which rotatably mount discs 12. The discs co-operate with inverted trough shaped members 5a attached to the container to thereby suspend and centralize the container. A spring urged brake (41), Fig. 6 (not shown), or a moving vane type brake, Fig. 7 (not shown), may be provided to dampen oscillations of the containers.
