Electric oscillations, producing.-A thermionic valve is arranged for generating oscillations in a transmitting aerial by connecting the plate or plates 5 and filament 8 across a series condenser 3 in the aerial, and connecting the grid-filament circuit inductively to the aerial inductance 2. The connexion from the filament to the lower side of the condenser 3 includes a capacity 7. The grid circuit preferably includes a high resistance 14 shunted by a. condenser 15. The highpotential source 11 is in series with inductances 9, 10 and is shunted across the plate 5 and filament 8. The signalling-device is in series with the resistance 14.
