1311843 Window casement stay R W PIDDINGTON 23 April 1970 [25 Jan 1969] 4339/ 69 Heading E2F A window casement stay comprises an arm slidably guided in an opening in a bracket having at one end a cranked portion engageable with an adjacent face of the bracket, the end of the arm remote from the cranked end being pivotally connected to one window frame, and the bracket being connected to the other. In the Figures, arm 10 slides through opening 23 in bracket 11 fixed to fast frame 20. Cranked portion 13 limits the opening of the window, by engaging with inclined portion 22 of the bracket. In the maximum open position the arm is substantially at right angles to portion 22 of the bracket.
