Abstract

1311146 Air conditioning buildings SPOLAIR ENG SYSTEMS AG 26 March 1970 [28 March 1969] 14994/70 Heading F4V An air conditioning and distribution system for working zones in a common room comprises a central air conditioning station, primary air outlet nozzles 20 within air distribution ducts 18 which have secondary air inlets adjacent the nozzles, primary air flow valves 19, a fan 14 for drawing primary air through the central station and a governor 15 for varying the speed of rotation or the blade angle of the impeller of fan 14 to maintain a constant pressure in a primary air manifold A serving the nozzles 20. The ducts 18 include outlet openings or circular or slotted nozzles of fixed or adjustable crosssection in their side walls, and heaters, coolers, filters or humidifiers in the secondary air inlets. The secondary air flows may be controlled by valves 21. One or more ducts 18 may be positioned above, beneath or at the side of a textile machine. The central station includes fresh air and recirculation air inlets 1, 3, a filter 6, heater 7, cooler 8, air washer and humidifier 9, a silencer 17 and optionally a reheater 13. The fan governor 15 may be responsive to a piezometer 16.
