Abstract

131,076. Ledanois, J. F. April 23, 1918. Sparking-plugs. - Wide, thin - walled, perforated cups d, b, are provided at the outer ends of the central conductor and insulator respectively to promote cooling. The central conductor may be hollow for the greater part of its length. The plug body may be in two parts. A ring e<1> screwed into the inner end of the casing constitutes the second electrode. The high - tension head h may be connected directly to the cup d, or to a grooved ring i thereon, or by means of a clamping-ring and nut or a spring plug.
