Abstract

1309926 Valves ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 27 May 1970 [28 May 1969] 25417/70 Heading F2V [Also in Division F1] A control and relief spool valve is exposed at one end to the fluid pressure output of a pump, the other end of the spool co-operating with a pair of springs arranged to act progressively on the spool. At very low output pressures, one spring holds a cap on the said one end of the spool against a main discharge orifice, and a pair of annular grooves and a longitudinal groove in the surface of the spool provide a by-pass for the fluid. Increased output pressure opens the main discharge orifice and closes the by-pass. Excess pressure moves the spool against the action of the second spring to establish direct communication with the by-pass outlet.
