1308460 Fibre optics JOSEPH LUCAS (INDUSTRIES) Ltd 14 Aug 1970 [22 Sept 1969] 46488/69 Heading G2J [Also in Division F4] A rear lamp failure warning system in a road vehicle includes a plurality of optical cables 13 extending from the respective lamps to a display panel 10 arranged inside the vehicle, e.g. on the rear panel shelf, so as to be visible in the driving mirror. Each cable is connected to a respective lens 12 mounted in the housing 11 of the display panel, the housing being adjustably mounted on an adapter 16 which is secured to the shelf and has a ball 17 clamped between the housing and a support plate 14.
