Coat and like hangers. -A hanger which can be folded up so as to occupy a small space, such as about 2¢ inches. by ¥ inch by # inch, is formed of a U-shaped casing a, approximately of the above dimensions, having open sides and an open lower end. To the upper end of the casing is hinged a U-shaped cover e, which acts when the hanger is in use as the suspending means, and when not in use and folded up as a cover for the sides and lower end of the casing a. A chain g may connect the two ends of the suspender and serve for suspending a second garment.
