Abstract
1307818 Thick film substrates AB ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS Ltd 30 April 1970 [14 April 1969] 18907/69 Heading H1R A ceramic substrate 1 is provided with a resistive heating element in the form of a coating 12 and a bimetal thermostat switch 7 for controlling the current through the element which can be adjusted by means of the screw 14. The substrate is preferably mounted in a thermally insulating enclosure, e.g. of a foamed plastics material such as polystyrene. The invention is useful in the temperature stabilization of circuitry, e.g. a television tuner unit for UHV and VHF frequencies. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 1,187,595.
