Abstract

1307679 Spark-jump rotary distributers JOSEPH LUCAS (INDUSTRIES) Ltd 21 July 1970 [16 Sept 1969] 45516/69 Heading H1N A rotor arm for the ignition distributer of a road vehicle includes a moulded synthetic resin housing 11 adapted to be mounted on the rotor shaft of the distributer, a contact 12 which in use is connected to the ignition coil of the vehicle, an electrode 13 for providing connections to the spark plugs in turn, a channel 15 in housing 11 and a resistor 16 mounted in channel 15 and fixed in position by a conductive resin mixture 17 which also provides electrical connections between the ends of resistor 16 and contact 12 and electrode 13. Resistor 16 is a cartridge type suppression resistor.
