Abstract
130,706. Aldis, H. L. May 9, 1916. Sights.-Consists of a telescope sight having a system of co-axial lenses giving an erect image and unit magnification. In the construction shown, four similar compound lenses a, b, c, d are arranged co-axially with considerable intervals between them, cross-wires or other indexes being provided at any convenient focal position. The observer's eye, when placed on the axis at a distance from the eye lens, sees perfect continuity between the image of distant objects formed by the telescope, and the adjacent portions of the objects seen by direct vision.
