Abstract

1307001 Coated surfaces K K K KROYER 4 Jan 1971 [12 Jan 1970] 1416/70 Heading B2E A marine structure intended to be immersed in sea water has a surface coating of one or more layers, the, or the outermost one of which comprises a vulcanised silicone rubber substantially free from toxic compounds. The rubber may be a room temperature vulcanisable rubber. The surface may be cleaned, e.g. by sand blasting, and an anti-corrosive coat applied followed by a layer of adhesive promoter.
