Asbestos boards for the layers 6, 6<SP>1</SP> may have their faces and edges impregnated before rolling or pressing to a rough metal reinforcing sheet 5, or the sheet 5 may be coated with impregnating agent prior to attachment of untreated asbestos layers 6, 6<SP>1</SP>, impregnation of the outer surfaces being completed subsequently.
