Abstract

1306127 Diazotype materials EASTMAN KODAK CO 20 Aug 1970 [26 Aug 1969] 40163/70 Heading G2C A two-component diazotype composition comprises a diazonium salt, a coupler aid, as a precoupling inhibitor and development accelerator, a triester of boric acid and a monohydric alcohol. The composition preferably contains a binder such as an acrylic or vinyl polymer, a cellulose ether or ester or a polyester, two coupling components giving yellow and blue dyes on coupling; an acid stabiliser; a hindered phenol as in Specification 1231270 and silica. The composition may be coated on a support, imagewise exposed and developed with alkali e.g. ammonia under pressure.
