1306003 Jacket GREIFF-WERKE GUSTAV WINKLER KG 12 May 1971 [6 Nov 1970] 14519/71 Heading A3V A jacket comprises outer material and lining material 2 of lighter weight than the outer material, the outer material and lining material being either wholly made from elastic material, e.g. jersey or knitted fabrics or other suitable material, or partially made from elastic material, i.e. divided up into panels of any shape or size some of which are made of elastic material, e.g. the panels 6, 7, 8 or only one of the panels could be made from elastic material, or the panels 4, 7, 10 could be made from elastic material such that stretch in a direction from the collar to the bottom of the jacket is possible, or the panels 3, 7 and 11 and 5, 7 and 10 could be made from elastic material such that stretch in diagonal directions from each shoulder to opposite sides of the bottom of the jacket is possible. The elasticity of the outer material may be greater than that of the lining material or vice versa or of equal magnitude to that of the lining material, and the stretch direction of the outer material and the lining material can be the same or different. The lining material may have openings or perforations over all or part of it, the perforations being either all of the same size or of different sizes and of any shape e.g. round, oval, angular or rectangular, and in a preferred embodiment the perforations are located in the back central region of the jacket, either being produced integrally with the lining or being on a separate insert piece of material which may be of elastic or non-elastic material. Material with the same pattern may be used for both the lining and outer materials. The outer material and the lining material may be joined together at spaced points, along lines or over areas by e.g. stitching, tacking or adhesion and in the case of stitching elastic threads may be used.
