Abstract

1305691 Casting slabs A KLEIBER 13 Jan 1971 [10 Feb 1970] 1763/71 Heading B5A An apparatus for the batch production of cast concrete slabs, comprises a plurality of shuttering boards 37, 38 and 39, which are formed into a batch at station I, so as to be arranged vertically in a spaced horizontal relationship before being moved to a pouring and vibrating station II, a setting station III, and a de-shuttering station IV. The boards can be arranged transversely to conveyer rails 8 and 9, as shown, or longitudinally of the conveyer rails, Figs. 3 and 4, not shown. The shuttering boards are formed by tie rods 40-47 with hinged side closing pieces 58-61 and bottom closures 62, 63. They also have heating ducts (16), Fig. 6 not shown. At the station, II they are clamped in a frame 14 having vibrators (27)-(30), and supported by jacks 39. A tunnel heated by oil, steam or electricity can be disposed over the setting station III. After de-shuttering the boards are passed to a device 13, which aligns them separately with rails 11, that slope towards the station I, so that they can be passed back for the re-batching. In Figs. 2 and 3, the boards are passed to and from the rails (11) by swinging arms (18), (19), In Fig. 7 not shown a batch (2) is supported on jacks (32), (33) so that it can be lowered on to vibrators (34) at the station II and in an alternative arrangement Fig. 8, not shown, a vibrator (35) can be lifted to contact the batch by jacks (36). The apparatus can be arranged in a circular path. The conveyers can be replaced by floor tracks or cable lines.
