1304621 Anchors IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd 19 April 1971 [18 Feb 1970] 7791/70 Heading B7S An anchor comprising a block 1 of non- buoyant material has a blade 2 attached to the underside of the block for swivellable movement. Actuating rod 5 linked to the blade causes it to move in a downward direction to engage the surface on which the anchor rests. Rod 5 may be actuated by a spring or an explosive charge in tube 6. The embodiment shown has two blades 11 slidably mounted on the block for downward movement also to engage the surface on which the anchor rests.
