1303734 Spray producers HAJTOMU ES FELVONOGYAR 29 May 1970 25931/70 Heading B2F Powdered thermoplastic materials or powdered aluminium are sprayed in the form of a thin sheet from a narrow elongated orifice at the outlet of a nozzle 7, the sheet being confined laterally by hot gas issuing from nozzles in a burner 8 on either side of the sheet and melted thereby. The powder is fed to the nozzle from an ejector 5 which in turn is fed from a hopper 3, a reservoir 1 supplying a vibrating shoot 2 which supplies the hopper 3 with powder. In an alternative embodiment (Fig. 6, not shown) the gas issuing from the burner 8 is not heated, the sheet of powder passing between electrical heating elements which transmits heat to the powder.
