1303114 Making press cushion plates IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd 2 July 1971 [15 July 1970] 34314/70 Heading B3A [Also in Division B8] A press cushion plate comprising two mild steel plates peripherally seam welded together is filled by introducing vacuum and then a filling liquid through a hole in a corner of one sheet, and the portion containing the hole is isolated by a further seam weld and removed by severing along the weld line. A threaded union may he brazed over the hole.
