Abstract
1302968 Mattresses &c GEURTSEN N V 8 May 1970 [8 May 1969] 22450/70 Heading A4M A mattress or cushion support comprises flexible, moulded resin, rectangular elements 2 with intersecting ribs 6, 7 defining perforations 8, each element 2 having along is longitudinal edges spaced eyes 3 with aligned bores 4, and adjacent elements 2 being inter-connected by spring steel pins 5 passed through mutually alternate eyes 3 of the adjacent elements. The elements 2 have a width inthe range 5-20 cm. The pin 5 also engages through spaced frame members 1. Each frame member 1 may have sections hinged together about axes coincident with the pins 5. As shown the elements 2 extend the full width of the mattress. Alternatively, Fig. 2 (not shown), an element 2 may be aligned with an extension element (2<SP>1</SP>), the elements 2, (2<SP>1</SP>) together defining the mattress width.
