1300312 Foamable polyolefine compositions MONSANTO CHEMICALS Ltd 28 May 1971 [25 June 1970] 30943/70 Heading C3C [Also in Division B2] A polyolefine resin, e.g. a polymer of ethylene, propylene or a butylene, is compounded with a blowing agent comprising a hydrazide of an organic sulphonic acid, e.g. p,p<SP>1</SP>-oxybis-(benzenesulphonhydrazide), and an inert solid chemical desiccant, e.g. an oxide of barium, magnesium or calcium, or fused calcium sulphate. The foamable polyolefine composition may be foamed by heating.
