Abstract

1299389 Valves COMPAGNIE FRANCAISE JOHN DEERE 15 April 1970 [15 April 1969] 18079/70 Heading F2V [Also in Division E1] An hydraulic control valve allows the simultaneous opening of an outlet valve and the closing of an inlet valve. To release the hydraulic pressure in bores 158, 164 lever 212 is rotated until cam 216 depresses plunger 210 to unseat outlet valve 186 via spring 208 and piston 202 and to seat inlet valve 184 via pistons 192, 190. To admit hydraulic fluid to bores 158, 164 lever 212 is positioned as shown, the fluid unseating inlet valve 184 until, in a closed centre system, the pressures on either side of valve 184 equalize, when the pump disconnects and spring 188 seats valve 184. In an open centre system relief valve 174 opens to permit continuous fluid flow. The valve is described as controlling hydraulic sliding-frame locks, connected to bore 164, in a mechanical digger.
