Abstract

1298358 Fluid regulation GARRETT CORP 4 Dec 1969 [5 Dec 1968] 35851/72 Divided out of 1298357 Heading G3H In a fluidic transducer, Fig.1 (not shown), signals applied to an electromagnet (ii) cause deflection of an armature (39) which carries a concave deflector 42, the deflector facing an emitter 46 and two receivers 44, 45. The proportion of flow entering each of the two receivers is determined by the position of the deflector relative to the emitter. In a modification, Fig.3, (not shown), the deflector is formed with a pair of concave deflector surfaces which merge with one another in a ridge 47, the ridge being aligned with the emitter when the deflector is in its mean position.
