1297971 Polymer composition AGFAGEVAERT AG 13 Nov 1969 [19 Nov 1968] 55532/69 Heading C3P [Also in Divisions B2 and G2] Bonding compositions for use in photographic materials (see Divisions G2-G3) contain a mixture of (1) a partial mixed acetal of polyvinyl alcohol derived from (a) an aldehyde containing at least one water-solubilizing group (e.g. di Na benzaldehyde disulphonic acid) and (b) an aldehyde not containing a water-solubilizing group (e.g. benzaldehyde), (2) a partially saponified polymer of (a) vinyl chloride and (b) a vinyl ester of an organic acid (e.g. vinyl acetate), and optionally (3) a cross-linking agent (e.g. a vinylacetate/maleic anhydride copolymer) and (4) a solvent (e.g. methanol/acetone).
