1297073 Hydraulic reciprocating motors HAWK OIL FIELD EQUIPMENT CORP 25 March 1970 [28 March 1969] 14421/70 Heading F1A A hydraulic reciprocating motor for rocking the counterbalanced beam 14 of a well pump comprises a reciprocable cylinder 35 mounted over a piston 32 connected to oppositely extending fixed piston rods 28, 29, the opposite ends of the cylinder being connected via lines 51, 52 to a valve control 54, supplying pressurized fluid alternately to the upper and lower ends of the cylinder to effect reciprocation thereof, the movement being transmitted to the beam 14 via a pivoted linkage 38. The ends of the piston-rods 28, 29 are connected to a base 11 and a frame member 34 respectively. In a modification, Fig.4 (not shown), a pair of reciprocable cylinders are linked to the beam 14, the first having a pistonrod connected to the base 11 and a fluid connection at its lower end, and the second having a pistonrod connected to the frame member 34, and a fluid connection at its upper end.
