Abstract

129,601. Ashford, J. March 15, 1919. Tripod stands. - A photographic and like tripod stand with telescopic legs has the upper sections of the legs of open-sided channel form. The inner sections have projections 5, 9 which slide in the slots and when the legs are extended engage slots in fittings 7, 11 on the lower ends of the upper sections of the legs. A clamping screw and nut 16 may be provided on each middle section, and a spring catch on each bottom section of the legs.
