Tripod stands.-In a tripod stand for cameras &c. the head is constructed of celluloid, caseine, artificial horn, phenol-resin, hard rubber (ebonite), fibro or a similar non-metallic material. In the construction shown the head a is of known kind, being provided with double fixing screw f for the camera and formed with radial slots g to pivotally receive eyes c formed on plugs h inserted in the tops of the tubular telescopic legs b. The plugs h, eyes c, and the spikes d of the legs may be formed of the same material as the head a. The upper tubes of the legs b may be encased in celluloid or similar material.
