Abstract

1295546 Treating textile webs VEPA AG 13 May 1970 [24 May 1969] 23142/70 Heading D1L A device for treating textiles consists of a container or housing containing at least one sieve drum, a unit for circulating the treatment medium through the sieve drum; the sieve drum having a baffle plate and a double jacket. The device can be used for treating various widths of material, as the double jacket of the sieve drum has a large resistance to the flow of the treatment medium thus reducing the amount liquor from passing through uncovered areas of the sieve drum. Both jackets of the sieve drum are perforated, the perforations of the inner jacket 4 being larger than those of the outer jacket 3.
