Abstract

1293435 Presser foot TEXTRON Inc 1 Sept 1970 [23 Sept 1969] 41787/70 Heading D1G A slide fastener presser foot 10 for use with a presser foot 12 has guide channels 54 56 for the fastener, needle receiving apertures 78, 80, and projections 62, 64 adapted to grip the sewing machine presser foot. The foot 10 is of plastics material and may be provided with a groove (58, Fig. 3, not shown) in its underface to facilitate its bending to snap on to the foot 12. The specification also describes a device (86, 118, 126, Figs. 4-7 not shown) which may take the place of a presser foot 12, if such is not provided on the machine, to receive the foot 10.
