Abstract

1290857 Pneumatic tyres REIFENKOMBINAT FURSTENWALDE VEB 20 June 1969 31259/69 Heading B7C A cross-ply pneumatic tyre which can be accommodated to a range of axial widths of wheel, the tyre comprising an even number of plies which extend from one bead to the other having cords which extend at angles of 50-80 degrees to the mid-circumferential plane and in each lateral portion at least one reinforcing layer whose cords lie at an angle of 30-50 degrees to the mid-circumferential plane. The tyre is produced from a blank which is vulcanized at a diameter of 70% of the difference between the maximum and minimum diameters of the finished tyre. The tyre may be mounted on a wheel whose rim width is telescopically adjustable by mechanical or pressure medium operated means.
