Abstract
1288624 Dispensing measured quantities of granular material K WAKAMATSU 29 Oct 1969 [29 Oct 1968] 52963/69 Heading B8N A container for granular or like material comprises a dispensing chamber 9 defined by the external walls of the container and two internal walls 4, 5. The chamber is provided with an inlet 7 and an outlet 11. The internal wall 5 is of a length such that its free edge 5<SP>1</SP> lies on a line p-p passing through the edge 6 of the internal wall 4 and perpendicular to end wall 3. The wall 5 may extend beyond the line p-p. Inversion of the container and restoring it to its normal position will effect dispensing of a measured quantity of material. Instead of being a rectangular parallelapiped (as shown), the container may be of triangular or circular cross-section. The chamber may be at the bottom of the container in which ease a suitable cover for the aperture will be provided.
