Abstract
1287365 Polarized centre-stable electromagnetic relays ADAMS & WESTLAKE CO 21 Jan 1970 [31 Jan 1969] 3027/70 Heading H1N A polarized relay has permanent magnets 16, 18 adjacent the outer ends of magnetic contact members 13, 14, 15 arranged in an envelope 12 so that the movable contact 11 has the same polarity as the fixed contacts 13a, 14a and when the coil 19 is not energized, the armature contact 11 is equally repelled by the fixed contacts 13a, 14a. A magnetic strap connects the like poles of the magnets 16, 18 which are insulated by members 17, 22a. Magnetic members 20, 21 are also insulated from each other and extend from inside the coil 19 to respective contact members 13, 14.
